We invite you to a concert by the Kyiv Mozart Orchestra, where you will hear the music of the incredible British composer and pianist Max Richter. The programme of the concert will include compositions from different years of his career, each of which best showcases the artist's multifaceted talent.

Max Richter is a unique figure in contemporary music. He is a talented composer and pianist who is not afraid to experiment and is always looking for new ways to create. After completing his musical education at the Royal Academy of Music in London, Max Richter continued his studies in Italy with Luciano Berio, a prominent experimental composer, avant-garde artist and electronic music pioneer. After graduation, he co-founded the Piano Circus sextet of pianists, performing mainly music by minimalist composers: Arvo Pärt, Philip Glass and Steve Reich. Max Richter is also widely known as a film composer - he has written music for dozens of feature films and documentaries, and in 2008 he was even named the best film composer by the European Film Academy for his film Waltz with Bashir.

All of Max Richter's work is a good example of how the combination of classical education and the latest achievements of electronic music allows the artist to create freely and boldly in a variety of stylistic directions. Nowadays, Max Richter is called a post-minimalist and neoclassical musician, but these words can explain little, only his music can tell us the best about him!
