Green Grey is a band that rewrote the rules of the game on the Ukrainian scene back in the 90s. They were the first to combine alternative rock, hip-hop and electronics, when most people were just learning to pronounce the word “crossover”. Their songs “Under the Rain”, “MF”, “Emigrant” are not just hits, they are cultural markers of an entire generation.
On May 30, Green Grey will perform at “V’YAVA”. This is a meeting with the music that shaped the freedom, style and mood of the Ukrainian 2000s. This is a chance to feel the same beat, the same riffs, the same drive again – only now on an open-air stage.
In 2025, the band sounds even more powerful. They are back – grown-up, angry, honest – and are just as capable of energizing the crowd from the first note.
