In the program of the evening: violin concerts and a symphony by the Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi, as well as the series "Seasons in Buenos Aires" by the Argentinian composer Astor Piazzola.

The surrounding world through the eyes of two geniuses appears so different, but equally makes one admire the fullness of life, masterfully reflected in music. The imagery, ideas and extraordinary temperament of the music of the outstanding Italian composer of the 18th century, Antonio Vivaldi, echo in a surprising way and find certain parallels with the work of Astor Piazzolla, the Argentine composer and bandeonist of the 20th century.

Antonio Vivaldi is a genius of the instrumental concert, whose "Seasons" is rightfully considered one of the highest achievements not only of the musical Baroque era, but also of the entire history of art. However, this is far from the only cycle in Vivaldi's work that deserves a landmark place on today's music platforms. In our program, you will hear no less virtuosic and masterful works of the composer performed by the best musicians of the Kyiv Mozart Orchestra.

The second musical genius of the evening is Astor Piazzola, an outstanding Argentinian composer of the second half of the twentieth century, who in his homeland is called "El Gran Ástor" or "The Great Astor" for his extraordinary contribution to the development of Argentine music and, in particular, the genre of tango. In Piazzola's work, this genre gained new strength, new meanings and meanings, incorporating elements of jazz and classical music. Our concert will feature the cycle "Seasons in Buenos Aires", which are not "seasons" in the classical sense of changing seasons. In this cycle, the author talks about different periods of the life of a resident of the outskirts of Buenos Aires through music, that is, this cycle is a lyrical suite of four tangos about the feelings and fate of a person in a big city.
