We invite you to a concert by the Kyiv Mozart Orchestra, where you will hear the music of the incredible British composer and pianist Max Richter. The programme of the concert ‘Max Richter & Vivaldi’ will feature a bold reinterpretation of the Four Seasons violin concertos by the Italian Baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi.

The cycle of violin concertos ‘The Four Seasons’ Antonio Vivaldi has long been recognised as a classic, a golden page of the world's musical heritage. But let's try to imagine how this music might sound if it were composed by our contemporary. Max Richter, a British composer, pianist, and author of music for many famous films, decided to make this bold experiment. You'll be surprised how modern and new well-known pieces can sound when a true master gets to work!

All of Max Richter's work is a good example of how the combination of classical education and the latest achievements of electronic music allows the artist to create freely and boldly in a wide variety of stylistic directions. After completing his musical education at the Royal Academy of Music, Max Richter continued his studies in Italy with Luciano Berio, a prominent experimental composer, avant-garde artist and electronic music pioneer. Nowadays, Max Richter is called a post-minimalist and neoclassical composer, but these words can explain little, only his music can tell you the best about him!
