What do punk, noise, hardcore and the sounds of an old printer have in common? The answer is FAKTYCHNO SAMI. A band that has been breaking the mold since the very beginning, bursting into the minds of listeners with 20-minute experimental tracks and mocking any notions of format.
This band began as the Ivano-Frankivsk project fuck!submarine, founded by engineer Oleg Artym and psychiatrist Oleg Byrchak. But the real explosion came when Irena Karpa and Artur Danielyan joined the band in 1999 – and a new era began.
Writing samples live, experimenting with sound and lyrics, being fundamentally non-format – FAKTYCHNO SAMI did it long before it became mainstream. From "Cosmic Vacuum" to "Kurva Kambek" they created music that demanded from the listener intelligence, freedom and willingness to hear something different. And this listener was - and remains with the band to this day.
Today, Faktychno Sami is returning to the stage not only for the sake of old fans, but also for new listeners who are discovering world-class Ukrainian music. "Lady Doo" is going viral on TikTok, and "Teren", a song about love against the backdrop of war, will soon receive a video - at the same time the soundtrack and trailer for Irena Karpa's new book. Many people also know the band as QARPA - this is how the music can be found on all platforms.

Bez ladu a skladu - a cult rock band from Trenčín, which has been combining punk, new wave and alternative since 1985. Their sarcastic lyrics, social criticism and crazy energy on stage have made them a symbol of independent music in Slovakia.
Karpatské chrbáty - an underground gem from the city of Vrbove, which has been playing absurd, satirical and experimental rock since 1982. Their music is theater, provocation and freedom embodied in sound.
