The 1976 Winter Olympics. Alpine skier Franz Klammer is only 22 years old, and he is already being called a future star. The young man has many victories under his belt, so the press and the public are hoping for his new achievements. But the pressure of expectations from thousands of Austrians is not the only challenge in this competition. Shortly before the race, the sponsor decides to change his usual uniform and equipment, the weather conditions are getting worse, and the track seems impenetrable. The only thing that keeps the hero from breaking down is the love of his life.
